Officials and working people in all regions and units devote themselves to the development of the country's education in October, the month for aiding schools.

Pyongyang City, which set a goal of building and remodeling at least 30 schools this year, concentrates on supporting the educational sector.

Supporters' organizations in the city sent different kinds of educational information equipment and lots of building materials to schools to support their remodeling projects.

Dozens of classrooms in Songrim City, North Hwanghae Province have been successfully remodeled into multi-functional ones as planned this year. Construction of model schools and kindergartens is brisk and efforts are focused on ensuring the working and living conditions of educators in different provinces.

Ministries, national institutions and other sectors and units also engage in rendering material support to schools for improving education.
