Innovations Witnessed at Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site Souvenir Factory

Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The Mangyongdae Revolutionary Site Souvenir Factory strengthened its material and technical foundations by dint of self-reliance and science and technology and increased the production in the past five years, true to the important tasks set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un during his field guidance to the factory in October Juche 105 (2016).

It doubled the production capacity by establishing new production lines, thus increasing the varieties of products.

It built up its own sci-tech forces and put efforts into overhauling and reinforcing the production lines.

It remodeled a zinc alloy smelting furnace by its own efforts and newly established a new plating process.

It also resolved the lack of raw materials for making zipper chucks in its own way and put recycling on a high level by remodeling production equipment.

It provided the material and technological foundations for increasing the production of consumer goods.

This year alone, it over-fulfilled its monthly national economic plan on all indices by producing over 20 kinds of at least 500 accessories with locally available raw materials.

Producing more than 60 kinds of zippers, it also puts efforts into increasing the varieties of products.
