The Syrian president in the message extended the warmest and heartfelt congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), all the Party members and the people of the DPRK on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the WPK.

The message sincerely hoped that the great WPK would always register successes in different fields including economy, society and military affairs through ceaseless great upsurge.

It said that the WPK, which has led the Korean people's struggle for progress, socialism and social justice, is playing an important role in the struggle against all sorts of moves of t imperialism to force its will upon other countries, interfere in their internal affairs and deprive their people of their rights to self-determination.

The Syrian president in the message expressed his will to make joint efforts for strengthening the historic relations of friendship between the two countries and expanding the fields of bilateral cooperation in the interests of the peoples of the friendly two countries.
