In the message the Lao president extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and the Central Committee of the WPK, all the Party members and the fraternal Korean people on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the WPK (October 10, 1945 - October 10, 2021).

We are pleased and proud that the DPRK and the fraternal Korean people have achieved great successes in preserving the political stability, strengthening the national defence and security, developing the economy and improving the people's livelihood by struggling to firmly defend the gains of the revolution, while further raising the status and role of the country in the regional and international arenas by expanding and developing the external relations, under the bold guidance of the WPK led by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the great preceding leaders of the Korean people, and Comrade Kim Jong Un, successor to the revolutionary cause, for the past 76 years, the Lao president noted in the message.

The message expressed firm belief that the Party, state and people of the DPRK would continuously achieve great successes in defending the country and carrying out the cause of building a powerful socialist country and the cause of peaceful national reunification by implementing the decisions set forth at the 8th Party Congress under the leadership of the WPK.

The message wished Kim Jong Un good health, happiness and great success in accomplishing the noble cause.

It hoped that the friendly and cooperative relations with a long tradition between the two parties, two states and two peoples would steadily grow stronger to meet the interests of the peoples of the two countries and promote regional and global peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
