Choe Su Bong, first vice-chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, and other officials of the association visited the DPRK consulate general in Shenyang on October 10 to lay a floral basket before the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and pay tribute to them.

Laid at the statue of the President at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin were the floral baskets in the names of the General Association of Koreans in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Province Regional Association, the family of Hwang Paek Ha, a China-resident Korean related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, and the family of Hong Yong Sun, vice-chairperson of the Jilin Province Regional Association.

Officials of the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Association of Korean Women in China and the Dandong City Branch of the Liaoning Province Regional Association visited the DPRK mission in Dandong to lay floral baskets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Paek Kyong Hyon, chairman of the Zhongnan Regional Association, and officials of the association and the Beijing City Branch laid floral baskets before the portraits of smiling Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at the DPRK embassy in Beijing on October 9.

The General Association of Koreans in China held round-table talks to observe the 76th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Attending there were Choe Su Bong, first vice-chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, and officials of the association, the vice-chairperson of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, officials of the Liaoning Province Regional Association and citizens in Shenyang City.

Speeches were made there.

The participants watched a Korean feature film.

The Zhongnan Regional Association and the Ningan City Branch of the Mudanjiang Regional Association and the Yanbian Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China held celebration meetings and photo exhibitions.

Cha Sang Bo, vice-chairman of the General Association of Koreans in China, made public a press statement on October 6.
