Those products are turned out at the Taedonggang Pig Farm on the outskirts of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.

This farm is a large base for livestock products built on the initiative of Chairman Kim Jong Il. The Chairman gave field guidance to the farm in October Juche 100 (2011).

All the processes of the farm, ranging from feed production to water supply, lighting of pigpens and the adjustment of temperature and humidity, are controlled by computer.

According to its Manager Jo Ryong Chol, the farm improved the taste of processed pork and laid a scientific guarantee for settling all the raw materials needed for production with domestic ones, thus raising the variety of processed goods nearly three times as compared with the figure at the start of its operation.

It is now striving to further increase the quantity and variety of products and improve their quality.
