Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Sends Reply Message to Syrian President

Pyongyang, October 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on October 14.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the message expressed deep thanks to the Syrian president for sending warm congratulations on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the WPK.

Wishing the Syria's Baath Arab Socialist Party and the Syrian people greater successes in the struggle for defending the sovereignty of the country, the message expressed belief that the ties of friendship, unity and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries would further develop.
