Participating in the presentation were teachers, researchers, graduate students, field engineers, members of the three-revolution team and others of more than ten units including Kim Chaek University of Technology and the welding research institute under the State Academy of Sciences.

Submitted to the presentation held through video conferencing were over sixty treatises on the achievements made in the study of fresh welding methods and the work of realizing the domestic production of equipment and raw and other materials in the field of welding.

There took place a lecture on the trend and prospect of the development of the laser-welding technology during the presentation.
