Ten-odd years ago, Ham Ok Suk, a woman teacher of Jesan Primary School, happened to see a crippled girl Pak U In in Jesan village of Hyongjesan District, Pyongyang, during the survey of school-age children. From her babyhood, Pak could not walk, suffering stammering for cerebral palsy.

Conscious of being an educator, the teacher helped the crippled girl with her lessons, carrying her on her back to school for three years.

Later, the schoolgirl came to walk on her foot after getting treatment at the Pyongyang University of Medicine Hospital thanks to the socialist health system. When she left the hospital, Pak U In wrote a letter of thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Kim Jong Un saw her letter and sent an autographic reply to her.

Under the care of the socialist system, Pak had honor of taking part in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union and became a student of Pyongyang City College of Medicine.

She told KCNA that she would study harder and harder to repay the benefits of the socialist system.
