Ace skilled persons selected from different production units under the textile industry management bureau of the Ministry of Light Industry took part in the contests.

Standings were set by judging the acquisition of knowledge in the field of specialization and the preparation of tools and also by assessing the speed, quality and quantity of clothes and thread produced per unit time.

The participants fully displayed the good skills they have cultivated in field.

A weaver of the Sinuiju Textile Mill won the first place in the weavers' contest and a spinner of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill the first place in the spinners' contest.
