This year's theme was "Readjustment and Reinforcement of the Current Manufacturing Process for Chemical Products".

Present at the event were teachers, researchers, postgraduates and field officials, etc. from more than 10 units including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, the State Academy of Sciences and the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex.

Over 130 valuable papers conducive to producing chemical fertilizers, establishing C-1 chemical industry, manufacturing basic chemical goods using glauberite and domestic production of catalysts, etc. were submitted.

The presentation also included a lecture on the current state and development prospects of the chemical industry of our country and a rational plan to establish a new catalyst industry.
