Organizations of the UAWK at all levels conducted the political work to raise the spirit of the agricultural workers for implementing the decisions set forth at the Party Congress and in the administrative policy of the DPRK government with the rice-harvesting contest as an occasion.

Agricultural workers across the country have recorded high results every day during the contest.

Officials of the UAWK and lecturers made positive contributions to promoting the rice-harvesting as scheduled through agit-prop activities.

During the contest a farmer harvested rice in the area which is 4.6 times bigger than the planned one.

An edit introducing the contest held in different places of the country was shown. Citations were awarded to the South Hwanghae Provincial committee and other UAWK committees and UAWK primary committees including the Oguk Co-op Farm primary committee in Anak County.
