Officials of Pyongyang and each province, city and county unfolded the campaign as a mass movement true to the decisions made at the 8th Party Congress, and working people across the country worked hard to cultivate more arable land.

They worked out plans based on the survey of areas such as arable land and riversides and carried them out briskly.

They took necessary measures such as vehicle and material supply and put huge areas under cultivation by removing stones and puddles.
