Capitalist Society Is Inhuman Society: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A decent lifestyle of helping and leading one another prevails in places full of love and affection, but distrust, antagonism, hatred and hostile relations get worse among people and lead society to destruction in places where inequality and privilege thrive, Rodong Sinmun says in an article on Friday, adding that the latter one is just the capitalist society. In the capitalist society a true social relationship based on loving care and belief is hard to exist, and that is because extreme misanthropy and jungle-law are endemic in it, the article says, and goes on: The capitalist society is the one where money controls the people and dominates everything. The principle of existence peculiar to the capitalist world is that the rich do harm to the poor and the weak yield to the strong. When one sets one's own individual interests as the highest aim, there will be conflict and discord of containing and slandering each other among people and the tendency of the strong chasing his or her own interests at the cost of the weak will prevail. Life ethics and way of existence based on the jungle-law become the main factor of dehumanization. In the capitalist society people regard their interests as the most important. The capitalist society is the world of coldhearted fellows bereft of human love, morality and chivalrous spirit. This society where the sound sense of morality is being sadly stamped out is turning into an "exhibition ground" of all kinds of social evils and immorality. Corruption of social system stems from the mental degeneration of human beings. The future of the capitalist society is getting darker with the accelerated lurching of political life to be reactionary, and mental and cultural life to be poor. Distrust, antagonism, hatred and hostile relations getting worse day by day precipitate the collapse of capitalism, the refuse of history. |
