Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- In Phyongwon County, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK, there is the Wonhwa Co-op Farm which registered President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il as its honorary members. President Kim Il Sung visited the farm for the first time in spring of Juche 41 (1952) when the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953) was at its height. At that time, he sowed seeds of grain together with peasants. Since then, he had given field guidance to the farm several times to take care of its peasants' living. When an agricultural cooperative was organized there after the war, the President became an honorary member of the farm and worked heart and soul for its development. In November 1993, the farm presented his share in cash to him. Then, the President saw to it that tractors, vehicles and farm machines were provided to the farm with it. Chairman Kim Jong Il, too, became an honorary member of the farm to turn it into a modern village good to live in. He had shown deep care for its farming and living conditions. Today, the Wonhwa Co-op Farm is more wonderfully being turned into a better socialist modern village under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. In November 2018, the agricultural workers of the farm again presented the grain and money, shares of the President and the Chairman. True to the noble intention of the President and the Chairman, Kim Jong Un showed warm love for the farm by making sure that the grain was distributed to its peasants and trucks and tractors of new types and fertilizer were purchased with the money and sent to the farm. Inspired by his warm love, the agricultural workers of the farm have made big strides in agricultural production by waging an intensive campaign for rich harvest every year. |
