Pyongyang City takes the lead in it.

Over 18,000 pieces of information equipment of 78 varieties and a large amount of materials, fund and school fixtures have been sent to the schools in the city.

Achievements include renovating several kindergartens, building and rebuilding 19 schools as models and making 500 classrooms multi-functional ones as planned for this year.

North Hwanghae Province built and reconstructed 8 schools as model ones as of September and has pushed ahead with the erection of Sariwon Teacher Training College.

Nampho City finished the construction of Nampho Teacher Training College by October this year, built and upgraded 6 schools as model ones and made over 270 classrooms multi-functional as planned for this year.

Other regions vigorously organized and conducted the work for improving the educational conditions and environment and the work for aiding educational field.
