Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Message of Thanks from Lao President

Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of thanks from Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR), on November 17.

The Lao president in the message expressed his heartfelt thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for sending a beautiful floral basket on his 76th birthday as a token of solicitude and friendly feeling for him.

The message expressed firm belief that the fraternal Korean people would achieve bigger fresh success in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche and the cause of building a powerful socialist country and in improving the people's standard of living under the determined leadership of the WPK led by Kim Jong Un.

It wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and success in his noble and honorable work.

It hoped that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two parties, two states and two peoples of Laos and the DPRK with excellent tradition would grow stronger.
