According to the information given by the researchers at the Pyongyang Observatory under the State Academy of Sciences, the lunar eclipse began from about 16:18 and ended at around 19:48.

It was 90 percent partial eclipse which reached at peak at around 18:03.

It was witnessed in various parts of the country after the sunset.

Lunar eclipse is seen twice a year on an average and full lunar eclipse was observed in May.
