DPRK Society Overflowing with Virtues and Affection (6)
Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a socialist society where the whole country turns into a large harmonious family and everyone helps and leads each other forward. In the country, lots of touching stories have been told every day.

Among them is a story about an unmarried man looking after several orphans with parental affection. He is a senior instructor in charge of the youth league and children's union affairs at Poku Senior Middle School in Sinchon County of South Hwanghae Province.

In Juche 101 (2012), he came to know that an orphan student was at his school. He told his mother that he would be the father of the student, and gained her active support.

Soon after he became the father of the student, the instructor received a speech made by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un at the joint national meeting of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) organizations held in celebration of the 66th anniversary of its founding. In the speech, the General Secretary said that the Party deeply trusts in the KCU school instructors and sub-branch teachers, hoping that they would look after the precious KCU members with paternal affection like the instructors of the Children's Corps in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle and cultivate their talents and guide them wisely as their genuine teachers.

Deeply moved by the speech, the instructor again brought several orphan students to his home.

In praise of his deed, the state conferred Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize, the highest honor of the DPRK youth, on him.
