Great Leader Alive in Hearts of Korean People
Pyongyang, December 8 (KCNA) -- Though ten years have passed since the demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il, he is still alive in the hearts of the DPRK people as their father.

In his lifetime, the Chairman devoted his all to the wellbeing of the people and, in the course, left many legendary stories of love.

Though he was busy with the state affairs, he visited a family of discharged soldiers living in Taehongdan County of Ryanggang Province and took care of their life with parental love and affection. At that time, the wife of the discharged soldier requested him to name the baby to be born.

Such request could be made only between parents and children. Watching the fact through TV, all the people in the country hardly repressed their passion and said in unison that such scene shows the close bonds of kinship between the Chairman and the people.

At dawn, the Chairman visited a peasant family of the Poman Co-op Farm in Sohung County and told the wife and husband of this family to write a letter to him when they could boil rice with electricity produced at a power station built by the farm itself. Some months later, the couple wrote a letter to him. The Chairman personally saw the letter and sent an autographic reply letter.

He also visited families who moved into new houses to show warm love for them. In fact, every house in the country is associated with such touching story of love.

That's why the DPRK people have ardently yearned for Chairman Kim Jong Il, always holding him in high esteem as their benevolent father and conveying his warm love.
