The presentation, held on the theme of "The introduction of high-yielding soybean species appropriate for the features and cultivation conditions of relevant regions and the putting of soybean farming on a scientific footing", was aimed to give wide publicity to and generalize the scientific and technological achievements and experience gained by many units.

Attending it were officials, scientists, technicians, teachers and researchers from scores of units including the Academy of Agricultural Science and Wonsan University of Agriculture.

Submitted to the presentation were more than 40 papers conducive to the research for settling the soybean seeds suitable for the specific conditions of the country and to increasing a per hectare yield by putting soybean farming on a scientific and technological basis.

During the presentation, there took place a lecture and a video show.
