The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Pun Nyo, a woman centenarian living in Sangso-ri of Hyangsan County, North Phyongan Province.

Ri had to undergo hardships with the sorrow of statelessness under the colonial rule of the Japanese imperialists before Korea's liberation, but she has enjoyed a worthwhile life since President Kim Il Sung liberated the country.

She devoted herself to farming for the sole purpose of adding luster to the socialist country, which made her the owner of land and the master of the country, with success in grain production. She is revered for bringing all her children up to be fine persons.

She leads an optimistic life, tending flowerpots and cultivating a vegetable garden.
