Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- In December, the people in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea feel the stronger yearning for Chairman Kim Jong Il who devoted all his life to their wellbeing. They are now in tears recalling December 16, Juche 100 (2011), when the Chairman signed a document on the step for supplying the Pyongyangites with fish ahead of New Year's Day. One day of the year, the Chairman told officials with a smile on his face that the Pyongyangites were delighted when they bought pollack and herring last year. Saying that tasty fish should be sold to the Pyongyangites on the occasion of the New Year like the last year, he stressed the need to quickly transport fishes from Wonsan Port when a vessel carrying them arrives there. He personally took a measure for the urgent fish transportation from the port to a relevant railway station by train. Then he signed the above-said document. It was at 21:13 on December 16. That night, he got on a train again to continue his journey of field guidance and passed away on the running train the next day. As seen above, the Chairman had devoted his all to the wellbeing of the people till the last moments of his great life. |
