In the reply message, Thongloun Sisoulith expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the LPRP Central Committee and the LPDR government and people and on his own behalf to Kim Jong Un for sending warm congratulations and the best wishes that became a great encouragement to the LPRP, the Lao government and people and him on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the founding of the LPDR.

The message expressed the belief that the DPRK would continue to make greater fresh success in defending the country, accomplishing the cause of building a powerful socialist country and improving the people's standard of living, under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.

In the message Thongloun Sisoulith said that he was so pleased over the fact that the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations with fine traditions brought the two peoples substantial interests and steadily strengthened in keeping with the regional and global peace, stability, cooperation and development.

The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and greater success in his noble work.
