Speakers at the meeting said that Kim Jong Il devoted his whole life to turning the countryside across the country into an ideal land good to live and work.

They noted that they can never forget the loving care shown by Kim Jong Il who was pleased than ever before, sent a message of thanks and put them on the meridian of glory when they over-fulfilled the grain production plan every year while overcoming manifold trials and hardships by dint of the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

They said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un has ushered in a new history of golden fields on this land, true to the high intention of Kim Jong Il who devoted his efforts and energy to the agricultural development of the country.

They stressed that regarding the behests of Kim Jong Il as lifeline they would bring a rich harvest to every field as befits frontline soldiers defending the socialist country in the same fighting spirit as was displayed by the patriotic farmers of the preceding generations.

Attending the meeting were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, Pak Thae Sop, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, and agricultural workers of the Oguk Co-op Farm.
