Visiting the then Taean Electric Appliances Factory in December Juche 50 (1961), President Kim Il Sung learned in detail about the party work, production guidance, equipment, material supply and welfare supply service there. Then he convened an enlarged meeting of the Political Committee of the Party Central Committee to take a revolutionary measure for setting up a Korean-style new industrial management system.

After all, the Taean work system was created under his wise leadership, which made it possible to speed up the socialist economic construction by organically combining the Party political work with the administrative and economic work.

True to the President's idea of economic management, Chairman Kim Jong Il wisely led the work to steadily display the advantages and vitality of the socialist economic management system of Juche.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made public "On Some Tasks for Effecting a Turn in Economic Work" and other works to clearly expound the issues arising in improving the socialist economic management in line with the requirements of the developing reality.

Under the guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), the advantages of the Juche-based economic management system have been fully displayed over the last ten years to further strengthen the self-supporting foundation for the country's economy and the driving force for its development despite the hostile forces' vicious sanctions and blockade.
