The letter said that the committee paid the highest tribute to Kim Jong Il, the eternal leader of Juche Korea, wishing for his immortality.

It lauded Kim Jong Il as a prominent great man and peerless patriot who developed the DPRK into a politico-ideological power of single-minded unity and an invincible military power and provided the eternal foundation for building a prosperous country by wisely guiding the Party and people with his rare leadership.

He is an outstanding leader who developed Chongryon, organized by President Kim Il Sung, into a pioneer organization of patriots and model organization of overseas compatriots, and also the defender of the destinies of Chongryon and Korean residents in Japan, the letter said.

It said that the last ten years when all the people have been out for the implementation of the behests of Kim Jong Il under the uplifted slogan of faith that "Chairman Kim Jong Il Will Always Be with Us" were the days of glory when his revolutionary idea and exploits shed bright rays with each passing day as the DPRK has held the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the great sun.

It noted that Kim Jong Un opened up new golden days for the movement of Koreans in Japan with his deep loving care while always standing by Chongryon organized by Kim Il Sung and led by Kim Jong Il.

It stressed that they would uphold Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il forever as taught by Kim Jong Un, add luster to the idea of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for building Chongryon and their leadership feats and adhere to the idea and feats as the great undying programme for the movement of Koreans in Japan.
