Speakers at the meeting held by youth and students at the Central Youth Hall talked about the immortal feats of Kim Jong Il who consistently maintained it as the most crucial task of the revolution to attach importance to the youth and worked heart and soul to open up a new history of a youth power and cultivate a grand flower garden of loving youth on this land.

They recalled that Kim Jong Il visited the construction site of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station even though he was not in good health and gave the young people the greatest trust and love to raise them to be heroes of the era and great creators.

Speakers at the meeting held by officials and members of the women's union at the Hall of Women praised the noble revolutionary life and achievements of Kim Jong Il who traveled the unending path of devotion for the country's prosperity and the people's happiness, holding aloft the red flag of the revolution all his life.

They said that Kim Jong Il is indeed the great father of the people and a peerless patriot who resolutely set out on the road of field guidance, saying that he still had many places to go and that the flame of victory will flare up across the country only when he continues field guidance, when earnestly asked by officials to rest even for a while.

Attending the meetings were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, Hong Chol Jin, secretary of the Pyongyang City Committee of the WPK, officials of the youth league and the women's union and youths, students and women's union members in Pyongyang.
