Garib Newaz, president of the Bangladesh People's League, in a press statement said that the progressive people look back with deep emotion on the achievements made by HE Kim Jong Il in the Korean revolution and the global cause of independence.

HE Kim Jong Il clearly indicated the direction of the socialist cause and had worked hard till the last moments of his life to turn the DPRK into a powerful country envied by the world.

The strategic position and power of the DPRK that has reached the highest level today and the stamina with which it progresses unyieldingly towards a brighter tomorrow over the worst challenges and ordeals would be unthinkable apart from his patriotic feats.

His august name shines as a symbol of the mightiness and dignity of Juche Korea and his idea and feats inspire the Korean people towards victory.

Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, in his article said that the life of Kim Jong Il is a noble one of limitless dedication to the people while always finding himself among them.

The devoted life of the great man who never stopped his journey for the people will remain forever in the hearts of the Korean people, the article added.
