Hana Musical Information Centre Associated with Chairman Kim Jong Il's Great Life
Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Chairman Kim Jong Il gave field guidance to the Hana Musical Information Centre in December Juche 100 (2011), the last period of his great life.

After receiving a report that another wonderful art information base for the people was provided, the Chairman visited the centre in the teeth of severe cold on December 15.

That day he went round a music e-library and other places of the centre and said that it is important for the operation of the centre to collect many art works like the Korean music and famous songs of the world. He stressed that the centre should keep in store all art works like recorded songs, sheets of music and books of music and dance published in the country, adding that he would send to it all the music pieces he had collected for scores of years.

Om Ki Chon, director of the Hana Musical Information Centre, told KCNA:

Though ten years have passed since the demise of the Chairman on December 17, 2011, we can not forget his field guidance consistent with devotion for the people's wellbeing.

People can see, hear and read any data ranging from musical works like the immortal classics and new songs to dance works, sheets of music, briefs and anecdotes at the centre. In recent years, the centre expanded the items of e-reading service to make the people see dramas, films and acting scripts.

The centre will strive to more creditably discharge its mission as a comprehensive art information base conducive to the country's development of musical art and the people's cultural and emotional life.
