Message to Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un from Syrian President

| Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message from Bashar Al-Assad, president of the Syrian Arab Republic, on Dec. 13. The message expressed deep condolences to Kim Jong Un and the people of the DPRK on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il. The message said that over the last decade, Kim Jong Un has enforced the politics of prioritizing the interests of the Korean people with his outstanding leadership and resolutely fought against all the pressure of the outsiders seeking to break the independent will of the DPRK. The Syrian president in the message expressed his will to strive together with Kim Jong Un to consolidate the historic friendly relations between the two countries and further strengthen the bilateral cooperation in all fields in the interests of the two peoples. |
