A seminar on Chairman Kim Jong Il's exploits was held in Denmark, memorial meetings in Norway and Finland, lectures in Guinea and Algeria and film shows in Syria and Nigeria from Dec. 6 to Dec. 15.

Korean films on Kim Jong Il's revolutionary life were shown.

The chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in his speech said that Kim Jong Il was an extraordinary statesman who thoroughly applied the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung to all fields of revolution and construction and an outstanding thinker-theoretician who gave guidelines to the progressive people aspiring to independence and socialism.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway and other speakers said that Kim Jong Il provided the world people with a firm faith in the victory of socialism by proving the scientific accuracy and truthfulness of socialism through his immortal literary activities. They noted that he smashed the vicious moves of the imperialists to stifle the DPRK through his unique Songun politics and steadfastly defended the destiny of the country and nation.

The international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League and the chairman of the Finland-Korea Society highly praised Kim Jong Il, saying that under his leadership socialist Korea demonstrated its might as an invincible country giving unlimited strength and courage to the progressive people of the world aspiring after independence and justice.

The vice-president of the General Union of the Peasants of Syria and the chairman of the Algeria-Korea Friendship Association praised Kim Jong Il as a peerless patriot and benevolent father, stressing that under the leadership of HE Kim Jong Un the Korean people will certainly fulfill the patriotic desire of HE Kim Jong Il for building a powerful country.

Messages to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un were adopted at the memorial meetings in Norway and Finland.
