Our Party has vigorously advanced the cause of building a powerful country along the road of victory while waging a fierce showdown with the imperialists in all fabrics of the state and social life to defend the destiny of socialism, the article says and goes on:

Thanks to the wise leadership of the WPK, unprecedented difficulties have been overcome, the dignity and honor of our State demonstrated before the world and the absolute advantages and tremendous viability of our own style socialism proven.

The strongest national defence capability for reliably defending the destiny of the country and people and our style socialism has been firmly consolidated, miraculous successes achieved in succession in all fields of socialist construction and the prestige and international position of our State put on the highest stage. They are a precious fruition of our Party's seasoned leadership.

Now our Party is wisely leading the struggle for new development of socialist construction through a dauntless offensive.

The period of comprehensive development of our style socialism is a historic watershed our Party and people have reached through their protracted struggle for hastening a brighter future of socialism, as well as a new era of development which will be proven by dint of the invincible leadership power of our seasoned and experienced Party.

Our State and people will build a prosperous socialist power, a dreamland for people which is unique in the world, on this land without fail under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.
