Felix Jesus Velasquez Castillo, general coordinator of the Federal Political Secretariat of the United Left Party of Venezuela, said at a seminar in Venezuela that the Korean people and the world progressives are now cherishing with deep reverence the memory of Kim Jong Il, a great master of ideology and leadership. He noted that Kim Jong Il developed and enriched the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and devoted his all to the country's prosperity and people's happiness.

Sergei Zebyatikh, chief of the Vitebsk Juche Pedagogy Association of Belarus, said at a seminar that Kim Jong Il passed away but he is alive in the hearts of all people for his great exploits performed in accomplishing the cause of human independence.

Jesus Antonio Carlos Hernandez, general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, said at a memorial meeting that Kim Jong Il firmly defended Korean-style socialism from the imperialists' persistent moves for aggression with the treasured sword of Songun.

A message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at a memorial meeting in Switzerland.

A seminar on the exploits of Kim Jong Il was held by the Communist Party of the Soviet Union on December 9 on the occasion of the anniversary of his demise.
