The theatre with a 5,000-seat stand, a conference hall, club rooms, etc. will contribute to leisure activities of working people and after-school education of youth and students in South Hwanghae Province.

Present at an inaugural ceremony held on December 21 were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, members of the youth league of the province, employees of the theatre and builders.

Kim Yong Chol, chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, made an inaugural speech.
