Kim Yun Hyok's family living in Moranbong District, Pyongyang has looked after the life of a female war veteran with all sincerity for nearly ten years.

Kim came to know the war veteran through his son, who was a pupil of a primary school at that time. Since then, Kim Yun Hyok, together with his wife and children, has visited the war veteran's family on holidays and rest days. They provided her with foodstuffs and tonics on a regular basis and took care of her life with filial affection.

Kim's family is still now devoting all sincerity to her health and life with a feeling of respect.
