Production of Modern Medical Appliances Gets Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- The Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory in the DPRK developed over 40 kinds of modern medical appliances, including general dental equipment, universal ear-nose-throat-treating equipment and all-purpose operating table, in a little over one year since its completion.

The Huichon Hospital Bed Factory, built at the end of last year, developed 10 kinds of hospital beds for various uses and is speeding up their production.

Those factories supplied medical appliances made by their efforts and technology to hospitals and clinics in different parts of the country.

The factories, which gained good experience in development and production of medical appliances, have mapped out a goal for making a new leap forward next year. They now step up the preparations.
