The Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled organized various works to put the protection of disabled persons on a scientific basis and conduct it in a far-sighted way.

It mapped out a questioning and answering collection on general knowledge related to the registration of disabled persons and distributed it to the medical workers in charge of households in the form of e-document. It also successfully concluded the work for registering the disabled persons throughout the country.

It newly started the run of a homepage for the disabled through the state-run network and presented several pieces of software to the National Exhibition of IT Successes-2021, receiving high appreciation. In particular, the "Sign Language Electronic Dictionary for Persons with Hypacusia" (1.0) was selected as one of the best IT products for the year 2021. The dictionary gives great help to the life of those with hypacusia.

The central committee also developed a program for integrating the disabled persons' production according to categories, regions and units, thus making it possible to efficiently manage their economic activities from next year.

Meanwhile, the mission, function and structure of the Pyongyang Jangwon Technology Exchange Company were readjusted and reinforced to provide the disabled persons with full rights to work. The central committee completed the work of mapping out the basic data for drawing them into production activities.

In order to train reserve teachers of Vocational Technology College for Disabled Persons, the central committee saw to it that several handicapped people study at Kim Il Sung University and Kim Hyong Jik University of Education through a tele-education system.

It has also sped up the construction of a sanatorium for disabled persons including the special class disabled soldiers.
