Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, said that the exploits of Kim Jong Il, who dedicated his whole life to the people's happiness and had been on the road of field-guidance for the wellbeing of the people till the last moments of his life, would be remembered forever.

Roberto Gabriele, general secretary of the Movement for Peace and Socialism of Italy, and other speakers lauded Kim Jong Il as the master of ideology and theory who illuminated the road ahead of the socialist movement and as the peerless statesman and iron-willed brilliant commander who developed the Party, the state and army of the DPRK into the invincible guiding force, unconquerable socialist fortress and matchless army.

Alhassan Mamman Muhammad, chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, and other figures said that HE Kim Jong Il is the leader who guided the DPRK at a time when the whole world was undergoing a political turmoil, adding that the DPRK defended socialism despite the complicated international situation and became a power which no one dares to provoke.

Andre Lohekele Kalonda, secretary general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that Kim Jong Il defended socialist Korea by devoting himself all his life and turned it into the people's paradise without an equal in the world and inspired mankind with a rosy hope.

A message to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was adopted at the memorial meeting held in DR Congo.
