Contained in the book are 94 classic works such as historic speeches, talks and conclusions made by the President in the period from January to June Juche 39 (1950).

Among them are works clarifying the idea that all servicepersons should be fully prepared in politico-ideological and military-technological aspects and the military units' combat efficiency further enhanced, as required by the prevailing situation.

Some of them expound the ideas of training many competent cadres of the nation, devoting all efforts to the preventive and curative medical care for the working people and giving wide and effective publicity to the excellent national art of the Korean people.

There are also works that give perfect solutions to the theoretical and practical issues arising in the revolutionary struggle and construction, including the issue of helping the children of the revolutionary martyrs become excellent officials through hard study, the issue of building modern villages, the issue of developing agriculture and sprucing up the land through river improvement and tideland reclamation projects and the issue of editing the Korean grammar textbook well.
