President Kim Il Sung provided a legal guarantee for socialist construction by promulgating the "Socialist Constitution of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea" on December 27, Juche 61 (1972).

Chairman Kim Jong Il instituted the Socialist Constitution, the noble heritage of the President, as Kim Il Sung Constitution to shed its rays.

Thanks to the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who adds brilliance to the immortal feats of the President and the Chairman, the Socialist Constitution was further developed into the great Kim Il Sung-Kim Jong Il Constitution.

Under the care of this socialist law, the Korean people could lead a happy life, enjoying the benefits from the Party and the state to the full.

Their trust in the Republic was further consolidated this year when a high-intensity struggle was waged in order to cope with grave crises threatening the safety of the state and wellbeing of the people.

The DPRK has vigorously conducted an emergency anti-epidemic war for defending the wellbeing of the people and the safety of the homeland from the pandemic that sweeps the world from last year and the construction for protecting the people from destructive natural calamities and providing them with better living conditions.

All those works are run through with the ones for the wellbeing of the people and with the sacred struggle for defending the life and happiness of the people and the cheers of hurrah resounded far and wide across the country.
