Third-day Sitting of 4th Plenary Meeting of 8th WPK Central Committee Held

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- The third-day sitting of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea took place on December 29 amid enthusiasm for the revolution and struggle of all the participants growing higher after receiving the practical programme that indicates a new path for the development of our style socialism.

In the second-day sitting, the plenary meeting organized sectional workshops and entered into a study and discussion to map out plans according to the fighting policies set forth in General Secretary Kim Jong Un's historic conclusion "On the Orientation of the Work of the Party and State in 2022" and his important report "On the Immediate Tasks for the Correct Solution of the Socialist Rural Question in Our Country". The meeting continued the study and discussion in the third-day sitting.

Upon authorization of the plenary meeting, a state budget assessment group for discussing the second agenda item "On the implementation of the state budget for 2021 and the draft state budget for 2022" was organized to study a draft document.

Sectional workshops and consultative sessions are studying and discussing in depth a draft resolution to be presented to the plenary meeting.

The workshops and consultative sessions are guided by members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and members of the Political Bureau of the Party Central Committee.
