| Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), received a message of greeting from V. V. Zhirinovsky, chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, on December 28, 2021, ahead of the New Year 2022. V. V. Zhirinovsky extended sincere congratulations to Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the New Year 2022. The people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are greeting this day with great pleasure and emotion, trust in tomorrow and confidence to continue the construction of the socialist society peculiar to the DPRK selected by them, the message said. Under the leadership of Kim Jong Un the WPK has achieved great successes by arousing all the creative forces to the implementation of the decisions of the historic 8th Congress of the WPK which affirmed the succession to the era of revolution pioneered from Mt Paektu, the message pointed out. It wished Kim Jong Un and the DPRK people success and happiness and hoped that peace would settle in the Korean peninsula. |
