The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was so considerate as to invite the meritorious workers and labor innovators to present at the banquet as main members in recognition of their distinguished feats in the struggle for attaining the first eminence in the new five-year plan.

Those who were honored to be present at the banquet as the pride of the country in 2021 under the great affection and trust of the great father were greatly excited to be invited to the event of honor and happiness.

They felt deep gratitude to Kim Jong Un for taking highly of the simple achievements made by ordinary soldiers although he himself brought about the great victory of today with his day and night dedication to the people the year round.

Present there together with the meritorious workers and labor innovators were Choe Ryong Hae, Kim Tok Hun, Pak Jong Chon, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), and other members of the Party central leadership organ.

Ri Il Hwan, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, made a speech there.

He, upon authorization of Kim Jong Un, warmly congratulated those meritorious workers and labor innovators who were invited to the meaningful banquet.

He said that all the achievements made in the journey which left another page of victory in the history of the country are a result of the heroic struggle waged by all the people across the country including the meritorious workers and labor innovators who enthusiastically supported and faithfully upheld the Party's determination while sharing the thought and intention with the Party Central Committee all the time.

He said that amid the stirring struggle that swept across the country with the drive for implementing the decisions of the Party Congress, the ranks of fighters of self-reliance braving through difficulties in reliance on their own efforts and communists who helped and led each other forward and created collective innovation have seen further expansion. This is a matchless precious success and valuable asset guaranteeing the bright future of the country, he added.

He said that when the meritorious workers and labor innovators become seeds of fire in their posts and workplaces and adorn each minute and second in the new year with creation and innovation as pace-setters, our country will make a stride forward toward the great goal and the cause of building our style socialism will greet a great victory certainly.

All the participants were reminded of the iron truth that there is genuine honor and happiness of their life in entrusting their destiny and future to the General Secretary and upholding him with single mind, and hardened their firm pledge to make hundred-fold efforts in the van of the times making leaping progress in high spirit.
