Floral Tribute Paid to Great Leaders
Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- Officials, working people, servicepersons and schoolchildren in the DPRK paid high tribute to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and the mosaics depicting their smiling images across the country on the New Year's Day.

Laid before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were bouquets and floral baskets in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF) and institutions, industrial establishments and universities at all levels in the city of Pyongyang.

The chief and members of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front placed a bouquet before the statues.

The visitors made a deep bow to the statues.

Floral baskets in the names of KPA and PSF units, institutions, enterprises and other units and bunches of flowers were laid before the statues of the great leaders and the mosaics depicting their smiling images in different parts of the capital city, including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of National Defence and the Mansudae Art Studio.

Officials, working people, servicepersons and schoolchildren across the country paid homage to the statues of the great leaders and mosaics picturing their smiling images in their residential areas.
