Institutions and cities and counties of the province sent several hundred tons of scrap iron that they collected to the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex on Jan. 1.

The province mapped out a detailed plan to send much more scrap iron to the metal industrial sector before launching a brisk campaign to collect scrap iron by mobilizing all its force and means.
