He gave pep talks to its officials and workers who are striving to raise the production of electricity from the start of the new year, true to the decisions of the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee, by putting spurs to the spirit of last year's dynamic advance in which the overall economy had been pushed ahead.

Stressing that the plant should take the lead in the general advance in the new year for the overall development of socialist construction, he called for making a positive contribution to reenergizing the national economy by strengthening the existing production foundation and raising the production to a higher level to satisfactorily meet the growing demand for electricity.

He underlined the need for the plant to vigorously conduct the three-revolution red flag movement as the key work in bringing about a productive upswing and direct big efforts to cultivating its own sci-tech force through substantial sci-tech dissemination and increasing of the ranks of technicians and skilled workers.
