After analyzing and reviewing the proud successes and experience gained in the last year's struggle, the plenary meeting advanced new fighting policies for successfully leading socialist construction to the next stage of victory, the editorial says, and goes on:

The main orientation of the work of the Party and the state for 2022, the fighting tasks facing them and a new programme for socialist rural construction, clarified by our Party, are a striking demonstration of its outstanding ability guiding socialist construction to the ceaseless upsurge by turning the current grim situation into a phase of building up our own strength.

The fighting policies, advanced at the plenary meeting, clarify in detail the revolutionary and scientific stratagem and ways for markedly strengthening the political and ideological might of socialism and further consolidating the state's potentiality of independent development despite all shortages and difficulties. And the new programme for socialist rural construction is associated with the great ambition of our Party to rapidly improve the people's living and firmly prepare the workers, intellectuals and peasants as communists revolutionized and armed with the Juche idea and thus strengthen our revolutionary forces in every way.

This year's grand march is a struggle which is sure to emerge victorious as all the people turn out in it after receiving the new guidelines for the prosperity of the country advanced by the Party Central Committee.

The editorial calls on everyone to perform new miracles and feats on all fronts of socialist construction full of confidence in victory and optimism, true to the decisions made at the 4th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee.
