Deeply studying the report that set it as an urgent task in settling the rural problem at present to increase the country's agricultural production in a sustained way, they renew their determination to hit the target set by the Party without fail.

They are now working out plans to systemically increase the per-hectare yield in all farm areas, whether they are flat, middle or mountainous, and to make great progress in the grain production this year, the second year of implementing the new five-year plan.

Departments of the ministry, based on anatomical analysis of their real state, are intensifying the work to correctly assess the successes and experience and find out shortcomings and lessons.

As required by the era of scientific farming, they are dynamically propelling the work to actively breed and introduce the high-yielding species suitable to climatic and soil conditions of the country, establish a scientific farming system and method capable of coping with the disastrous abnormal climate, secure the areas for cultivation of rice and wheat and change the grain production structure of the country.

They are organizing the work in detail to raise the per-hectare yield to the maximum by giving importance to farming in low-yielding fields and effectively conduct bean and potato farming as part of a plan to firm consolidate the material and technical foundations for agricultural production.

They are taking measures to thoroughly implement all the tasks of the agricultural development set forth by the Party such as reconstructing the present stockbreeding bases in a modern way, widely spreading the high-yielding fruit species and establishing the advanced cultivation technology.
