The online education system and other study-while-working education systems were orderly established and many sci-tech learning centers set up across the country to ensure full conditions for working people to learn science and technology to their hearts' content.

According to statistics, more than 100,000 working people have enrolled on the online education course across the country.

Last year alone, over 10,000 working people enrolled on the online education course and thousands finished their online university education courses.

Working people from various units including the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, the Chollima Steel Complex and the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill have distinguished themselves in resolving the sci-tech problems in practice after finishing their courses in central universities such as Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry and Pyongyang University of Transport.

This advantageous system gets popular as it enables the applicants to receive lessons freely anywhere and anytime and immediately grasp the sci-tech problems arising in production.

Ever since the law on online education was adopted at the 3rd Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK held in April 2020, the online education has been firmly guaranteed by law along with the brisk efforts for ensuring its conditions.
